Taste Copenhagen on our Food tour

In recent years Copenhagen has emerged as a foodie hotspot. There are many reasons for this; The New Nordic Food Manifesto followed by  many Michelin-starred restaurants. But also a striving street-food scene and a general culinary awakening of the Danes has made an impact.

Copenhagen has a vast number of restaurants, cafes and shops selling homemade, organic, and handcrafted foods and ingredients. Add that to the fact that Denmark is an old farm-land and you have Scandinavia’s bread basket. This is what we will enjoy, taste and talk about on our food tour. You will hear stories centered around food and food culture, and it’s likely that other topics may arise as well.

You’ll taste; Wienerbrød aka Danish aka pastry, the worlds best hotdogs, homemade caramels, elder flower drink, open-faced sandwiches, Danish cheese and visit shops and supermarket of interest.

In general about the Food tour

This is not your average food tour. As with everything we do, we do it differently and better – we hope. For the food tour we like to combine the tastings with insights into Danish culture, folklore and the farm history.

This tour can be customised in accordance with allergenes, Religion or amount of kids in the group. Also, if your definition of a Foodie is closer related to quantity than quality, you may want to reconsider booking this tour.
